I’ve disobeyed and now there’s no choice. If I don’t get married on the spot, then I’ll be shipped out of New York and forced to marry a stranger.

At least Monte Castelli isn’t a stranger. Instead, he’s an unpredictable package of mafia enforcer muscle with a sinful reputation and my longtime ‘frenemy’. Despite being at each other’s throats, we ended up on the run together when the New York scene turned threatening and Monte decided he was going to protect me whether I approved or not.

Now, on my uncle’s orders, Monte and I find ourselves facing each other and repeating wedding vows. What’s more, we are both stuck in this marriage arrangement until we find a way out.

Even with our constant bickering, the ‘one bed’ situation meant it didn’t take long before we wound up between the sheets. Once we started, we couldn’t stop. We violated every single boundary over and over.
